Register Now for Summer School – More Options!

This year’s summer school offerings are bigger and better than ever! Students now can take courses in one of two sessions: June 14 – July 2 or July 12 – July 30. For just $13 a course:
  • Elementary students can take Spanish, martial arts, creative writers workshop, summer fitness, choir, first aid, and introduction to band – and that’s just scratching the surface!
  • Middle school students can take cooking classes, martial arts, summer band, vocal jazz, hands-on science classes and more!
  • High school students can get credit for physical education, strength and speed camps, personal and financial management, marching camp, language arts, social studies, biology, computer programming, physical science and more! (Edit: 4/16/2010 – Credit will not be offered for camps or classes not offered during the school year.)
  • Don’t forget the popular Middle School Matters and Freshman Forward for incoming 6th and 9th graders in August!
K-8 students will take summer school at historic and centrally-located East High School. Parents can pick up/drop off their children, have them bused from/to the closest elementary or middle school, or have their children bused to the Boys and Girls Club for the afternoon. A transportation request must be filled out for these last two options.
