District High Schools Succeed at State DECA; Preble & Southwest Head to Nationals

On March 8-10, teams from the four Green Bay Area Public School District high schools competed at the state DECA competition in Lake Geneva, WI. Each student competed in two written exams, role plays, and several students also wrote competitive business papers. DECA is a business and marketing organization that allows students to compete individually or in teams as they present solutions to business and marketing issues. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. State competition results are outlined below.

In addition, Southwest DECA earned a variety of chapter awards:

  • Winner of Community Service Project award
  • Acts of Kindness Award
  • Thrive Campaign
