What about the built-in snow day of May 27? It’s not listed as making up that day.
Also, I thought they only had four days off. Why are they making up so much? They are meeting 3/13, 5/27(?), 6/11, but why additional early release days of 4/11 and 5/9? Or are they not meeting on 5/27?

    • Hi Leah – As communicated to all families in January, the May 27 weather make-up day will now be a required day for students. It would appear that we should just be able to swap a cancelled day for a make-up day, however we must also include any late start or early release times that are related to inclement weather when we are calculating our minutes/hours for the Department of Public Instruction.

As a result, the early release on January 14th will be made up by cancelling the originally scheduled early release on April 11, 2014. To proactively plan for an additional inclement weather delay or early release, we cancelled the originally scheduled early release on May 9, 2014. These measures will prevent us from having to come back on Friday, June 13 if there is an additional delay or early release in the future.
