Message to Parents about Connecticut School Shooting

We want to reassure families with the news of the recent school shooting in Connecticut, that school safety is a number one priority. Our thoughts and hearts are with the staff, students, and families at Sandy Hook Elementary in the town of Newton, Connecticut.

We work closely and collaboratively with the Green Bay Police Department to ensure the best safety and security measures are in place at our schools in order to keep your child safe.

Over the weekend, there will be significant media coverage of this event. You know your child best, so please be aware of what your child is watching and how much. Your child or children may also have questions about this this tragedy. We appreciate your help by talking with your child and comforting them and reassuring them that these incidents are rare.
