“Looking Ahead” Session Offers Students a Glimpse into the College Application Process

Many students have an interest in attending college after high school, but are unsure of the necessary steps to make this dream a reality. On Thursday, November 29 at 7:00 p.m., a “Looking Ahead” session will be offered in the Washington Middle School auditorium for students and their parents who are interested in learning about what can be done to increase their chances of getting accepted into the college of their choice. The session will be focused on students in grades 6-9, and is free and open to the public. Information will be shared regarding what colleges are looking for in an applicant, what kind of courses students should take, and the importance of co-curricular activities.

Washington Middle School is located at 314 South Baird Street. For more information, contact Shirley Paulson at (920) 448-2477.
