West High School Coaching Legend to be Honored at Recognition Ceremony Sept. 28

On Friday, September 28, Green Bay West High School will honor a special coach, a man who is remembered for his contributions on the football field, as well as in the classroom. Coach Earl “Mike” Miller is a Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee, and coached at West High School from 1971-1986. During his coaching career, Miller achieved four consecutive conference championships and two undefeated seasons. To honor his accomplishments, a recognition ceremony will take place at West High School’s Marchetti Stadium, 966 Shawano Ave., at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 28.

Miller coached and taught at West for 31 years, and has received many awards for both his coaching ability, and his service to youth within the Green Bay Area Public School District. For more information on Miller’s life, visit the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association website at www.wifca.org.
