Green Bay Area Public School District Offers Free Early Childhood Developmental Screenings

Wondering if your child is progressing at an appropriate developmental pace? The Green Bay Area Public School District’s Early Childhood Screening team provides developmental screenings as a free service to parents of children three to five years of age who live within the school district boundaries. Developmental screening assesses a child’s overall development, and determines if the child may need more testing or services before attending kindergarten.

Several screenings are available this year at various community sites from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.:

  • Tuesday, October 23, 2012: Head Start Parent Center, 617 N. Irwin St.
  • Friday, November 16, 2012: Kroc Center, 1315 Lime Kiln Rd.
  • Friday, December 4, 2012: Family and Childcare Resources of NEW, 201 W. Walnut St.
  • Wednesday, January 16, 2012: Howe Resource Center, 526 S. Monroe Ave.

Developmental screenings are by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 448-2102.
