Eight Green Bay Area Public School Students Receive 5/12 Scholarships

Congratulations to the eight Green Bay Area Public School students that received 5/12 Scholarships! Given out by Partners in Education, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, the fifth graders were chosen based on demonstrated potential, academic achievement and good school attendance.

The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will follow the students through grade 12. After each successful school year, funds will be deposited in each student’s scholarship account that can be accessed upon high school graduation for post-secondary education.

The newest recipients are:

-Kennedy Bowes, Fort Howard Elementary

-Phikul Chang, Jefferson Elementary

-Marco Linares, Fort Howard Elementary

-Sara Maua, Tank Elementary

-Nautica Quinn, Tank Elementary

-Avery Reimer, Tank Elementary

-Tabatha Turppa, Lincoln Elementary

-Zharia Wells, Fort Howard Elementary

Four Green Bay Area Public School students are 2012 graduates of the program:

-My Nue Her, Green Bay East

-Mary Walker, Green Bay West

-True Xiong, Green Bay West

-Tiffany Young, Green Bay Southwest
