West High School Math Club Hosts Elementary Math Bowl: Langlade, MacArthur and Martin Elementary Schools Earn Top Prizes

On Thursday, May 10, the Green Bay West High School Math Club hosted its annual elementary math bowl. Approximately 250 fourth and fifth grade students entered the competition, representing 13 local elementary schools. To reward their efforts, students received medals for first through third place, and ribbons for fourth through sixth.

The top scoring schools were Langlade Elementary School in first place, MacArthur Elementary School in second, and Martin Elementary School in third.

Fourth grade scores are as follows:

  • First Place – Ben Fredeen, Langlade Elementary
  • Second Place – Samantha Voelker, Wilder Elementary
  • Third Place – Hannah Siegworth, Wilder Elementary
  • Fourth Place – Avery Diedrich, Pilgrim Lutheran
  • Tied for Fifth Place – Adam Smith, McAuliffe Elementary and Luke Pisani, Langlade Elementary
  • Tied for Sixth Place – Michelle Cutlan, MacArthur Elementary and Eli Cisneroz, Wilder Elementary

Fifth grade scores are as follows:

  • First Place – Tanner Diring, Martin Elementary
  • Second Place – Emily Tisler, Langlade Elementary
  • Third Place – Sebastian Guo, Martin Elementary
  • Tied for Fourth Place – Seth Zellner, Langlade Elementary and Evan Stock, Pilgrim Lutheran
  • Fifth Place – Jason Adler, Langlade Elementary
