Starbucks helping put books in Eisenhower Elementary students’ hands for the holidays

Community members stopping in to area Starbucks for a caffeine fix can also give the gift of reading to Eisenhower Elementary students. Starting today, November 18, 2011, participating Starbucks stores on Military Avenue and Oneida Street in Green Bay, and Main Street in De Pere, will be displaying Christmas trees with ornaments made by Eisenhower first and second grade students. Each ornament has the title of a book written on it that a student has requested. Customers will be able to choose an ornament and bring the book back to the store. Each book bought will be wrapped and delivered to the respective students on December 22, 2011.

For more information, contact Claudia Orr, principal, at 391-2420.
