Community Can Provide Input on Green Bay Superintendent Finalists
The Green Bay Area Public School District Board of Education has just announced two finalists for the Superintendent of Schools and Learning. One of these candidates may replace outgoing Superintendent Greg Maass, who will be starting as Superintendent of the Marblehead School District in Marblehead, Mass., on July 1, 2011. The final candidates are:
- Damian LaCroix – Superintendent of the Howard-Suamico School District, Green Bay, Wis.
- Michelle Langenfeld – Associate Superintendent of the Anoka-Hennepin School District, Anoka, Minn.
“I’m pleased to announce that the Board of Education has narrowed the field down to two excellent candidates,” said Jean Marsch, School Board President. “The Board and I hope that the community will take advantage of the opportunity to listen to and meet each of the candidates next week.”
The public is invited to attend the candidate meet and greets next week in the District Office Board Room, 200 South Broadway. Members of the community can meet Damian LaCroix on Tuesday, June 7 and Michelle Langenfeld on Wednesday, June 8. Both meet and greets are scheduled for 3:00-4:15 p.m.
