Preble High School Concert Tonight to Help Replace 30-Year-Old Marching Band Uniforms

Preble High School, 2222 Deckner Ave, is out with the old and in with the new when it comes to band uniforms and other necessary equipment for the Music Department as they try to raise $80,000-$100,000. The Preble High School pep band, color guard, and drum line will be holding a “Last Blast” concert in the Main Fieldhouse at 7:00 p.m. tonight, February 11, 2011, to kick off the fundraising campaign. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5.00 and there will be concessions and band apparel for sale. The pep band will be featuring music heard during football and basketball games.

The Preble High School Music Department has been using their current marching band uniforms for more than 30 years and do not have enough uniforms for the entire band. The campaign to raise funds will go towards uniforms as well as other needed equipment, such as a parade banner and formal concert attire.
