East High School drumline takes on Wrightstown at Chicago’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Green Bay East High School’s Marching Band had the honor of  marching in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago this past weekend. An e-mail from a Wrightstown parent gave us a heads up about a spur-of-the-moment, friendly drumline competion. The parent’s e-mail said:

“Just a comment about your Green Bay East Music Students. Our group ran into them at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Chicago this weekend. What a great group of kids! They came over and played with our small Wrightstown High School group. It was a lot of fun and you should be proud of your kids.”

Kudos to music teacher Karen Iken and the great kids of East High School! Watch the video and see the fun!
